THE MAYTAG BUTTER CHURN
The Maytag butter churn was designed to replace the agitator in the aluminum square tub washers. The construction of the butter churn was also aluminum. All you had to do was remove the agitator and install the the butter churn over the agitator post. Next you would pour in the cream and start your washer. Engage the handle on the side of the square tub and the paddle inside the churn would start. It was a great feature when you consider that most of the butter making was done by hand in those days.
OUR COLLECTION IN THE TRAILER READY TO GO
It is show day and we have the engines all ready to go. We keep them in this trailer so we don't have to move them at the engine shows.
THE FAMOUS MAYTAG MARAUDER
The famous Maytag Marauder was built by the purchase of war bonds by the Maytag employees. The B-26 medium bomber led nineteen successful combat missions over Africa, Sicily and Italy. After its twentieth mission the bomber was forced to land in the Mediterranean Sea and the crew was saved. The loss of the first Maytag Marauder prompted a second plane to be named the Matyag Marauder II in memory of her famous predecessor. Sadly enough the second Maytag Marauder was also lost in a combat mission.
The plane or the crew were never found.
MAYTAG MEAT GRINDER
The Maytag meat grinder was a very useful tool. Most of the meat grinders of the time were hand powered. All you had to do was remove the wringer from the wringer post on your old Maytag washer and replace it with the meat grinder. This particular Maytag grinder was manufactured about 1938.
MAYTAG WRINGER GREASE CAN
The Maytag wringer grease can that you see is a bit out of the ordinary due to the fact that it has a paper label. Most of these cans I have located have painted labels.

This Maytag showcase has a Maytag song book, Maytag clothes pins, Maytag needle threader, Maytag oil bottle and various other items related to Maytag.
MAYTAG SHOWCASE NUMBER THREE
This case includes a Maytag model 72 gas engine muffler and also a model 92 gas engine muffler. A Maytag cook book and a couple of Maytag oil cans. The small square tub washer is a doll house model.
THE MAYTAG COLLECTOR TRUCK SERIES
These are four of the Maytag collector trucks. Number one and number two are the hardest to find at this time. Number one is bottom left and number two is top left.
MORE OF THE MAYTAG COLLECTOR TRUCK SERIES
Three of these trucks are Maytag and one is Ford. That Ford is going to have to go! Not really my other passion is old Ford machines.
MAYTAG COLLECTOR TRUCK SERIES
This Maytag truck will complete the series of trucks to date. This truck was number three in the series.
MODEL 92 WASHER WITH GAS MODEL 92 ENGINE
This is a great picture of a Model 92 washer and gasoline engine. Notice the rivets in the tub yet. Also has the Model 92 two cycle engine. This engine used the side exhaust and had the long frame.
MAYTAG WOOD TUB WASHER HAND POWERED
This hand powered Maytag washer was built from 1914 until 1928. Better than a rock, but not much.
