I will show several images of the Model 86. This washer is unrestored and works fine. It is very small in size and is very rare. This washer is even more rare than the Fruit Jar Maytag engine. Enjoy the pictures.

Very small agitator on the small Model 86
The Model 86 was manufactured for dealers to demonstrate the new design of the bottom agitator. The wood tub washer had the agitator on the lid and new aluminum washer design used a bottom agitator. Maytag produced 64 of these small samples in 1924 and were distributed to dealers across the country. This small washer is one of about 8 left known to exsist. |
